Our Mission

We are a working group of concerned landowners whom recently became aware of the proposed changes to the landowner licenses system.  There is no hidden agenda here, we are simply trying to get the word out to other landowners who may be negatively impacted by these changes so they can get involved in this process before it’s too late.

Important Meetings

The Game and Fish Commission meeting is soon upon us. Be sure to attend if you can. We’ve also scheduled meetings of our own to provide you with updates on the Commission meeting, TRW updates, and on the Ag committee. 

Landowner Meeting By Landowners

  • Monday, July 14th from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm
  • Ramkota Hotel Threatre room in Casper, WY
  • Cash Bar for Cocktails will be served – Helps offset the room costs!
  • Update on Commission meeting, TRW Updates, and Ag Committee.
  • Invite as many landowners from around the State.

Landowner Breakfast

  • Tuesday, July 15th from 6:30 am to 8:30 am
  • Breakfast Buffet in Ramkota Threatre room in Casper
  • Meet and Greet other landowners opposed to CH 44
  • Breakfast will be $19 per person
  • 7:50 am head to WG&F Commission meeting in Ramkota banquet room.

The Main Issues

The new regulations of Chapter 44 aim to make it harder for good Wyoming people to gain a landowner’s license. They want to increase the minimum amount of contiguous acres and the days of use. Not only that but they are recommending capping the number of licenses landowners can get. Get the full breakdown by reading the Statement of Reasons of Chapter 44 below.

From 160 to 640

The Chapter 44 proposed changes increases the minimum from 160 contiguous acres to 640.

From 2,000 to 3,000

The proposed change is to go from 2,000 animal use days to 3,000.
